Thank you, Giacomo for including my tiny story typeset so fancy at Neutral Spaces.
Two girls pass me on the street styling identical jumpsuits, black with vertical red stripes. Both wear sun hats and loads of jingle jangle bracelets. I’ve noticed the taller girl working the cash register at Goodwill. She resembles Nicole Kidman. “How cute you both look,” I say as they smile by. “Love your Martens,” says Nicole. “Are they vintage?” asks the slight girl. We squeeze in a selfie and off they run, late for coffee or drinks or maybe both. I cheer them along, walking tall in my old black boots.

Yay! Martens... 🖤🖤
RIP Diane.
